
Kenneth Scott Broome was born on July 19, 1955, to Carroll Bruce and Edna Karen (Ruud) Broome in Denver, Colorado. He grew up primarily in North Dakota, graduating from Williston High School in 1973. He moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area in 1988. Scott worked at a number of interesting occupations, doing seismograph work in the oil fields in western North Dakota and just prior to his death owning a sub-contracting business installing hardwood floors. Notable flooring jobs were in Elton John's Atlanta area mansion and the Atlanta Underground mall. In 2005 he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, eventually succumbing to the disease in August 2006. He was survived by his widow, Annette, and stepdaughter Katrina
